I’m also an IB student, so I won’t have any answers or critique in regard to your chances of admission. However, I’d like to ask a couple questions:

1) Are you taking the full IB diploma? If yes, does your school convert the IB scale to GPA? If yes, how do they do that?

2) What is your predicted grade and how are you doing at the moment?

Hey eklee!

1) Yes I am, our school weights each IB course by 2/3 of a letter grade, so for example a B+ is counted as an A for the GPA, which is why my weighted GPA is above 4.0.

2) We receive our official predicted grades when we return to school in late August, but I talked to my counsellor and they said that unofficially, I’m at around a 42-43. I’m doing quite well, feel in control of the EE and ToK, and not too worried about most of my classes.

Hope that was helpful :)
