Essay will prolly be good. It'll be on my "wasianess" or my fascination with religion while being an atheist.
Chances?

Stanford looks like a reach. Others are matches. I think the atheist essay would be a better topic as it seem it may include a better insight to who you are and your character. Some admissions officers might also not know what a "wasian" is (btw being called this will likely not give you a leg up in admissions). If you do write about the first topic, make sure any humor you include is universally funny, not bound be culture, age, etc as I imagine the admission officer as an old guy with glasses (sorry, I know it's not true).

Agreed. WUSTL, Vanderbilt, and UChicago are all matches, with Vanderbilt probably the least difficult (close to a safety/match), and WUSTL and UChicago somewhat more difficult. Stanford, though, is a reach, perhaps a big reach, but it's a reach for almost everybody. By the way, if you haven't already done this, you should add some safeties to your college list. While you're a competitive candidate for WUSTL, Vanderbilt, and UChicago, acceptance at any of these schools is not guarenteed, even for some one with your good stats.

i'm sorry...could you list your SATs again?? last time i checked 750 +740 + 730 did not equal 2240...
