<p>Trying not to follow a stereotype, but you fall into the category of many of the Asian Americans that have good grades, good test scores, some sport, and some musical instrument. While you certainly are qualified to be admitted to Wash U, the numbers of people with essentially the same application type (which is the majority of all applicants of all races to top notch schools) far outnumbers the number of available spots for them.</p>

<p>That is to say, your stats are good, but nothing stands out. I think this is where showing strong interest in a school and possibly applying ED can give you, or anyone else in this category an edge.</p>
