Good Recs, Essays,

Your testing scores are amazing, but your ECs seem few and far between.

Nah your extracurriculars are pretty impressive in my opinion and your test scores are just godly. However, your GPA is somewhat low despite your extremely rigorous courseload so it'll be your recs and essays that decide your acceptance. Good luck!!!:)

one of my essays made a couple of my teachers cry. so i think its pretty good.

Well, it depends on what it was about the essay that made them cry... :p

general terms - drug addiction within my family.

ACT 36 and (1st time) SAT 2400? I would guesstimate only 10 to 20 people in the country have been able to do that

You should get into one of the top schools for sure

You're only REAL setback is your GPA since Yale's average is about 3.8 unweighed (this applies to all Ivies, save for Dartmouth who has 3.7). Your SAT, ACT, and SAT II scores are bloody brilliant, I must say that the odds of this happening are approximately 2 in 10,000,000 so congrats there!
