I'm applying regular to Yale, but have two strange circumstances:

1: I'm skipping my Senior year in HS.

2: There's a building named after my parents at Yale, and the President is a friend of theirs.

Stats:
SAT1: 770V, 760M
SAT2s: 800 Math 2C, 750 Writing, 730 Literature
GPA: 3.6-3.7 (not sure yet). All of my classes throughout HS have been a year ahead, though.
School: Top Private.

Very strong ECs, and essays which are agreed to be good.

My only question is WHY THE HECK are you skipping senior year? Don't you realize that senior year is the BEST time of high school and that you will COMPLETELY miss out?

Other than that, you have just as good a chance as any other rich kid applying to Yale.

i agree abt the senior yr stuff, but yeah, U WILL GET IN...no doubt. especially cuz of ur parents. U shud be grateful to them for ur getting in!

...ur in. u would be in with a 3.0 1200, no ECs, and below average essays and recs.

alhtough i personally think u should stay a year longer. unless the private school costs a lot (which shouldn't matter if ur parents have a building at yale anyways...). tell em u wanna have fun, and stay 4 ur senior year.
