oh and another question ... what is a score you think needed to apply to ppsp and have a good chance... 33?

56 views and no replies. somebody answer!

You are in!!! Do early action and you will be in a better position for merit aid!

Regarding PPSP and CWRU… From the PPSP pamphlet on the Case Website:
<a href=“Undergraduate Admission | Case Western Reserve University”>Undergraduate Admission | Case Western Reserve University;
(I would look it over if you are applying)

I’m guessing from your profile that you’re thinking about the medicine PPSP… Here is what the pamphlet says:

One IMPORTANT note: If you apply PPSP, you CANNOT apply early action. Pick one or the other. It says so in the yellow box on the Case admission page: [Case Western Reserve University - Application Plans & Deadlines](<a href=“Undergraduate Admission | Case Western Reserve University”>Undergraduate Admission | Case Western Reserve University)

I’d say you’re definitely in, especially if you apply early action. Merit aid is possible. To be frank, I don’t think you have a chance at PPSP. They only accept 5-10 students a year, and it’s incredibly, incredibly competitive. I know several amazing people - including one that made it through to the final interview - that didn’t make it.

However, this is no reflection on your ability to get into Case’s med school if that’s your ultimate goal… Just have a strong undergrad with great grades and plenty of research/medical experience.

I have nothing to add to aphoticmelody’s post.

thank you very much

does applying to the ppsp just for the hell of it once i retake my ACT decrease my chances of getting in regular admission?

I’ve never heard of that being a problem
