Interview:
Amazing, talked for an hour until she had to go back to work, I ended up mentioning a book I read. It was her all-time favorite talk about luck. Displayed my passion for mathematics and desire to be engineer, as well as running and leading a team, she barely had time to ask any systematic interviewesque questions in between my blabbering…

buuuuump plz

I'd say you have an excellent chance of being accepted.

thank you, who else is applying to CIT? any other opinions?

I think it hinges on the essays. I'll probably get rejected because the essay is due tomorrow and I haven't started yet.

I'm reapplying to CMU via CIT here.

You've got very good EC's for a tech applicant. Wish I'd done something more than learning how to be lethargic...

munkee wat are ur stats? where elsE?

Are the acceptance rates for MCS and CIT all that different? I applied to MCS, and I'm under the impression that CIT is significantly more difficult to get accepted, since it's so renowned.

By the way, how does MCS rate in terms of sciences compared to its peer institutions? They sound like they have an excellent science program (I'm looking at chemistry) and looks to me that they prepare their students well for Med school (which I will probably be looking at later on). Any thoughts?

-I have the exact same break up as you on the SATs. I just think that it is really funny to find someone with the same breakup. But, I am not applying to CIT, I am applying to Tepper, but I hope the SAT scores are high enough for both programs.

knows11, do you any idea as to what the acceptance rates are for each individual school? Which has the highest/lowest acceptance rate?
