Admissions Dilemma?
Hi! I am a junior, and I am so nervous about applying to college!!! I have always been a really ambitious, competitive student, but I always have this nagging feeling that what I am doing is never enough. If anyone could please tell me what schools they think I will be eligible for, or what I need to do to get into my dream schools (NYU, Duke or Oxford. Like I said, I'm overly ambitious.), it would be much appreciated.
Idk... I feel like I need to have written a novel, or discovered a new atomic particle or something. I just don't even know if I should be considering these schools, especially the latter...If anyone could PLEASE take the time to look through this, and give HONEST feedback I will be soooo happy. Thanks!
P.s. sure enough, my post was moved to here, lol.

-Female

-Black

-Pretty fluent in French; will have 4 years of French by graduation.

-Taking AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP World History, AP US History, AP English Language exams. Expected to make a 5 on all (may get 4/3 on AP Stat), and get an A in all, except for AP Stat (B), and AP Government (C)<<<not taking Government AP exam.

-I have had one C, sophomore year, Algebra II Honors. As you can tell, math is not my specialty. As you read above, AP Government may also end with a C.

-I DO NOT plan to take AP Calc, or any other math course beyond AP Stat no math senior year, in other words.) I have not taken Pre Calculus.

Senior year, plans to take AP Human Geography, AP Environmental, AP English 4, AP Psychology, and MAYBE if by some miracle my math skills improve over the summer, AP Physics

-Have taken 2 SAT subject tests (Literature:750, Biology:640), with plans to retake Biology, and to take at least 3 others.

-Got a dismal 28 on the ACT, but I don't plan to use that on my application.

-Took my first SAT earlier this year with a score of 1970, but I am SO retaking that (math:470!!!!), and next time, I plan to get at least a 2100...

-Have always scored pretty high on the PSAT(most recent: 200), and I qualified as a Semifinalist in the National Acheivement Scholarship thingy. Then they found out I wasn't a senior and kicked me out (I accidentally miscalucated grad year on the exam), but since 200 is higher than what I got last time, I'm pretty sure I actually qualified again...this time as a senior next year.

-Won 1st place in school science fair this year.

-Extremely good at writing/words in general.

HOSA (club for medicine nerds) club officer. Won first place in the state for a HOSA event, and went to nationals, where I got honorable mention for something. Have earned second place at district level.

-Not into sports (you really, really don't want me on any teams...you WILL lose every time). Have tried out for everything under the sun, and I did color guard last semester, until my parents pulled me out, because the 6 AP courses+ practices till 9 just wasn't working.

-Don't have many volunteer hours, and, consequently, haven't joined NHS.

-Interested in majoring in Biology (for Oxford: Biological Sciences).

-Current GPA: 4.2 May go up by end of year, though

-Top 10% class ranking
