With Dartmouth being an incredibly selective school, it’s a reach for essentially every applicant. But your chance seems to be as good as anyone else’s. I suppose that you don’t expect to be recruited as a football player, do you? (If you do, your chances obviously improve.) Make sure you express great interest to the admissions office. Good luck!

Your test scores and gpa make you competitive, and your ECs seem pretty strong. Make sure you have good relationships with teachers for recommendations and spend plenty of time in advance working on your Dartmouth essays. Good luck!

Actually you only have to complete the Common App Essay since Dartmouth doesn’t have a supplement essay. However, there is a peer recommendation letter you may choose to submit, but first a few caveats. Don’t use this unless you have a friend who knows you incredibly well who can present your positive attributes in a unique light. Also, make sure their writing style is different from yours. With the evaluation being so “unofficial,” it will help you just a smidge at best. So supplement this with caution. Your stats look good and for sure you’re a competitive applicant.
Good luck!
