Hi guys! I currently have a 3.96 uw and 4.36 weighted GPA. I'm from illinois and am very active in many organizations (church youth group, NHS, business people of America, junior class council, dance team, choreographer, part time job, have a summer internship, etc)however, my standardized test scores I feel will keep me from getting into a good school. I got a 28 ACT (would've been a lot higher if not my 23 on science:( ) and an 1880/1270 SAT score. I want to be a business major. What do you think is the chance of me getting into U of I in business?
Also schools I'm considering but would need to get a scholarship to attend:
University of florida
University of miami
Bradley
University of redlands
Nyu
University of california (idk which one)
Baylor
University of texas austin

28 ACT/1880 SAT is cool and you are in-state. You will get in but you might not get the intended major. Apply very early.

University of Florida and University of Texas-Austin will be a reach because they prefer in-state students and only high achieving out of state-rs.

Ok thanks so much! That’s the problem I just need to do better on the science section of the ACT and then I think I’ll have a better chance! Lol

You should be accepted at Redlands with a nice scholarship. It would have a different feel than many of your other options- if you visit schools in CA you should consider going for a tour. Admissions is very nice and helpful if you have questions about the school
