I know it’s kind of early to be asking, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to try
-I’m a junior at a very highly-ranked school in my state who will be a full pay student.
-GPA is roughly a 91-92 (my school does not calculate GPA on a 4.0 scale and does not do class rank)
-composite ACT is a 31 (retaking in June)
-ECs include varsity tennis (I will be the varsity captain this fall and it’s by far my biggest commitment), FBLA (state qualifier), an anti-drug association in my community, mathletes, Model UN, prom committee, writing for the school newspaper, working on the school news broadcast, orchestra, and possibly peer leadership/national honor society if I make it into them this coming fall.
-I will graduate having taken 6 APs (1 soph, 3 junior, 2 senior) and around 10 honors classes.
-Last summer I also took two credit-bearing courses at NYU and this summer I’ll be taking two more at UPenn.
The schools I’m looking into right now are:
Penn State (in state)
Villanova (legacy, early action)
Pepperdine
UMiami (early action)
Boston U
NYU
UC Santa Barbara
Tulane (early action)
Pitt
Michigan
UPenn (just applying for fun )
I’ll probably go in undecided or as an English or economics major. Thanks again in advance!
