He's already been accepted to Boston College and Villanova. He's awaiting acceptance to Holy Cross and Yale. But his top choice is Notre Dame and he'll turn down anything if he gets in there.

he's got as good a shot as i do.

haha, i'd suggest some prayer, that's all i'm doing lately.

that gpa is weighted?.

it says 3.8 W, so obviously yes...

The GPA may be anywhere from a little problem to a huge problem, depending on the UW GPA & how competitive the school truly is. However, I think he can be reasonably optimistic following the decision from BC.

Yea, I'm the friend that yougotjohn was talking about. I've been browsing the threads for a few days, and finally got up the motivation to register.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Wow, I wish I had seen a conversion chart before... According to Princetonreview.com, a 96 GPA = a 4.0. I thought it was a 3.8 (I always thought it was Your Average/25). Is that correct? And if it is, my GPA is a 4.0... does that change my chances at all?

magna cum laude? haha get that out of here. drop a few perfect papers then come back. but really, looks decently solid.
