Chances for a (HIGHER) merit scholarship?

Okay so here's my situation.

I'm asian, I live in MA. I wanna do pharmacy. I wanna stay in Boston since it's close by home; I'm applying to Boston University, Mass College of Pharmacy and UConn and Univ Rhode Island and Rutgers and other schools with pharmD/bSpharm (BU doesnt have it but whatever). My parents do not go under the category of need-based aid and I'll be swamped with debt if i don't get a high enough scholarship..

Competitive public high school in MA
Weighted GPA - 4.19
Unweighted GPA - 3.78
SAT:
1st time - 1980 total, 560 CR, 750 M, 670 W
2nd time (YESSS i love october thank god) - 2170 total - 690 M, 730 CR, 750 W
super score = 750 M, 730 CR, 750 W - 1480; 2230 :) (i'm so happy you have no idea, it made my whole day)

SAT Subjects: (here's kinda so-so scores but whatever most of my schools are safeties, I just need merit scholarship money)
- Math 2C - 700 >_< (bad)
- Chem - 720 (kinda bad but whatever I didnt study for it after a month of no touching chem post-AP exam)
- Bio E- 710 good-ish/whatever

AP exams - psych & chem both 5s junior year
this senior year i'm gonna take AB calc and AP biology

ECs: (again not special)
- 150-200+ hours volunteer at local hospital since end of sophomore year, spent 2 summers + 1 fall + 1 spring there
- part time job junior year from Sept 07- July 08 at day care as teacher's aide
- School newspaper since junior year
- Track sophomore year - stopped because i honestly hated it, might take it up senior year though
- VOICE committee + yearbook senior year

Freshman year I took 2 honors, 3 classes were accelerated/enriched A/E
Sophomore - 3 honors, 2 A/E classes
Junior - 6 classes; 2 APs, 1 honors, 2 A/E
Senior - 4 academic classes - AP/AB Calc, AP Bio, English & Physics are A/E

? Any chance I'll get MAYBE a half ride? =\ at least 16k a year? I really really need this merit scholarship and that's literally the only reason why I'm not applying to 'better ranked' schools since they probably wouldn't give me merit scholarships..

Oh sorry, my class rank might be top 12-15% or so

I would say you're likely to receive generous merit money, but as has been mentioned before, NEU is inconsistent with their distribution of scholarships. The fact that you've taken many AP classes will help, since in my experience NEU loooves to reward AP students.

okay thanks =) yeah.. i can't go unless i get like 15k+ merit money, it sucks haha
