...other things i cant remeber right now

My first choice is UVA

others
UVA, Geogetown, Duke, Princeton (Yea i kno...), Hampton, University of Maryland-College Park, Michigan, UMBC, UNC- Chapel Hill, University of Miami..and thats all i can think of right now

I hope being african american will help me alot...even though that might sound greedy

bump......

Good luck!!! Your URM status should help you. It is only 10 more days till you know your decision!!! Once again, Good luck.

well i'm a junior but yea..i hope this time next year i get the letters i am looking for...THANX...good luck to u too

If your first choice is UVA, and you feel confident enough to apply early decision (I think that's what they have) I would be very suprised if you didn't get in. In fact, I'd say Duke was a very real possibility... at least comparing your stats to my non-URM friend who got in ED (EA? I don't know which one they have.) I'd try to up the SAT a bit, get a leadership position, and take off "Who's Who" from your list of accomplishments, as it means nothing. Good luck though...

bump......................

My guess is your overall GPA is around 3.6, your SATs are solid, your ECs are decent, and you'll definitely get a boost from your URM status, so...

Cornell - High Match/Low Reach
UVA - Match
Geogetown - High Match
Duke - Reach
Princeton - Big Reach
University of Maryland-College Park - Low Match/Safety
UMichigan - Match
UNC- Chapel Hill - Match
University of Miami - Safety

A couple of the schools you listed I didn't comment on because I don't know anything about them.
