I am going to Major in Chemical Engineering

bump..........

somebody please help me evaluate my chances...I am trying to decide on a list of colleges

Great class rank, average SATS by college confidential standards, genaric ECs

Columbia - slight reach
MIT -reach
Princeton -reach
Stanford -reach
Michigan -match
University of Southern California -match
Case Western Reserve -safe match
Ohio State -safety

thanks for your input...that's basically what I was thinking also...do most people think these schools would be good for a chemical engineering major? Also, does anybody else have input?

Also, if I were to retake my SATs and got the verbal and writing about 750, what would my chances be then?

Can some more people please evaluate my chances? I really need to know before deciding which schools I should apply to

I think your Ecs are extremely trite, In my opinion better ECs with a slightly higher SAT will Boost your chances a bit. I agree that MIT, princeton, and columbia, and stanford are reaches.
