so, is there any hope?

There is hope if you have talent. Your guidance counselor will help you more than anyone on this site. Good luck!

BUMP... Sorry but I need help! Please!

And thank you. I talked to my counselor, and she said she honestly doesnt know. Emerson is weird in who they accept. SO I need some College comfidential advice!

pleeze! bump...

hmmm I'd say no to emerson, I have a friend that went there and she had a 4.0 and outstanding local theater creds and reviews. Those grades really do hurt, I don't know much about your other schools but you need a DAMN good essay, great auditions (for all performing arts schools) and killer recs. Test scores won't matter a lot at performing arts schools, it just shows that you didn't apply yourself as well as you could have in school. The fact you've only done shows through your school is kind of a limiting factor too. Best of luck-- oh and don't mention the weight watchers thing, it's a little weird :).

oh nm about the in-school shows, I missed the bit about your other 6 shows.

you should be ok at hartford. emerson would be a huge reach for musical theater. and unless you're essay is on how losing weight changed your life in some significant way, dont mention it.

other than emerson, do I have a good shot everywhere else?

I'd really like to go to school in a big city like Boston- any recomendations on schools to look at? Thank you so much

sorry to bump this again, but any more opinions?
