Chances for a nerdy, but underachieving white male in CA

Hi everyone, here's a bit about me:

-I'm a junior at a fairly competitive public high school in California.
-I'm a student that takes a special set of classes that focus on polytechnic classes.
-My UC GPA is estimated 3.6 by the end of this year. I'm in the top 25% of my class.
-I haven't taken any Honors or AP classes, but I have tested out of AP US Gov with a 4 and APUSH with a 4.
-My SAT scores are 620 M/640 CR/700 W for a total of 1960. I may retest next summer.
-I plan to take SAT subject tests in US History and Math 2 sometime during the summer.
-I plan to spend all four high school years in Jazz band, first chair saxophone.
-I have won two high school science contests hosted by UC Davis.
-I consider myself to be an excellent writer, so I expect to write a killer personal statement.
-I am a director of my school's radio station.
-Technology Officer of Photo Club for two years.
-Last year, only 38% of students in my school's graduating class applied to a four-year university.
-Of those students, 30 applied to at least one UC. (Does this make a difference?)
-I'm in my city's youth orchestra.
-I have accumulated over 300 hours of community service
-I have exhibited 24 photographs in galleries displayed at the California State Fair
-I would like to major in Computer Science or Bioengineering.

Here's a list of colleges to which I plan to apply:

-All UCs (yeah, even Merced!)
-University of Washington
-Cal Poly SLO
-Arizona State University
-Any other college you think would be a good pick for me.

So, CC, what are my chances?

I don’t know much about the UC system, but you are in everywhere else except possibly UW, but I would give you a 90% chance there.

Really? I’ve heard that UW is becoming very selective. Do you think my SAT scores and ECs compensate for my GPA?

thx for chancing me

Berkeley - reach
LA - reach
SD - reach
Davis - match/high match (reach if u major in bio)
-University of Washington - match (if you w ere in-state, i would say match, I don’t know about their OOS admissions)
-Cal Poly SLO - match
-Arizona State University - From the (very) little I have heard, I think match maybe, but dont trust me

good luck man

chance me?? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/813549-chance-freshman-mid-year-transfer-please-will-chance-back.html

best of luck!!

Thanks for all your responses so far! If any of you are more familiar with UW or UCI admissions, I’d like to hear your opinion.

Okay, I have some updated stats. I’ve calculated my estimated highest possible UC GPA: 3.45. Obviously, I didn’t do as well as I thought in my previous semester. My highschool has an API score of 8. and I’m top 37%

Also, I got my SAT reasoning and subject tests back:
650 M/ 670 CR/ 720 W/ = 2040/2400
SAT Math 1: 650
SAT US History: 670

Now, what are my chances? U of Arizona has recently caught my interest. I’ve also pretty much fallen in love with UC Irvine and UC Davis.

One last thing of importance: academically, my school is extremely divided. While only 38% of the graduating class applied to a university, about 30% of these students were admitted to one or more Ivy League schools.

Thanks!
