Chances for a transfer student from Northwestern?

I would be a sophomore transfer.

I was admitted to Northwestern as ED.

High school GPA: 3.91 unweighted
ACT: 35C, 12/12 essay
Varsity rower with multiple state and regional awards
Internship with state senator for one summer
Various community service projects

College GPA: 3.425
I play a club sport here.

I kind of messed up my first semester, because it was hard for me to adapt. Also, my classes were incredibly rigorous - potentially one of the most rigorous courseloads for a freshman. Will this help me at all?

Thanks!

The prestige, rigor of Northwestern along with your great stats in high school will definitely help you. College GPA is a little low but still I would stay you have a decent chance. It really all depends on how you measure up against other Northwestern students who have transferred to Penn (and there are many of them).

Why do you want to leave? Also, your GPA is too low, but still curious.
