I am a 17 year old foreign exchange student in the U.S. with decent grades, but probably not the best potential for a 2200+ score at the SAT's, nor a perfect essay. At recent events, I decided that I also wanted to go to college in the United States, and I wanted to apply to either Stanford, or one of the other big ones. In the past, I have never really been that interested in going to the best schools, or getting the best grades. Allthough, both of my parents did, but I simply never wanted to, untill now. This year in California made me want to fulfill my potential.
With this said, do you, whomever reads this, believe that I, with the grades and potential score on the SAT that i assume I'll get, be admitted to Stanford college?
I know that the grades and SAT score isn't the only part taking place when considering a college application, so if you can imagine that there is a possibility for my admission to this prestigous school?
Thank you for reading and responding, it means a lot to me.

Being a foreign student will definitely work to your advantage, but there really isn’t enough information here to yield a proper assessment. Stanford is a top school that requires not only determination and intelligence, but a transcript that conveys such.
