who cares about ethics, do CAS

you think i can get in though?

ill give u 50% chance

I will give 70 to 80% chances.
You have things that NYU is looking for. Impressive.
Not because of your SAT scores or GPA but with what you have done - activities. A wide range of activities is important. NYU is different

is it harder to get into gallatin or cas? if i want to study bioethics, then in which one do i have a better chance of gaining admission?

Barrymanilow (nice screen name),

NYU schools have similar admission standards...though CAS is probably a bit more competitive than Gallatin, then again, Gallatin is smaller...so you never know.

I think you have a pretty decent shot...your chance would be even better had you applied ED. The admissions cmte. can sometimes be ruthless with RD, and sometimes people who would have normally gotten in ED--don't get in RD.

I noticed you have fencing as an EC, NYU has an amazing fencing team...and this might be your hook.

Good luck.

-NYU class of '00

anyone else have any other opinions?

bump........

you will be fine...i am rejected by the way...but don't listen to me since so many people told me i am just clueless of waht i say lol

thanks..kjayson... by the way i kind of know how you feel. i got deferred from cornell. are you from bergen county?
