Chances for Andover, Hotchkiss, Peddie, and Suffield?!

I'm new to this forum but I have always wanted to go to boarding school. I'm currently in 10th grade so I'll be applying for my junior year. I really want to apply but I want to know my chances, so please comment!

-GPA: 3.97 my freshman year in all honors classes
-I haven't taken any tests yet like the PSAT but I'm signed up and should be taking it in a few weeks.
-Taking AP World history and French 3 as a sophomore, as well as Honors Bio, Math, English, Psych.
-I'm on the Varsity swim team and I went to districts and states my freshman year.
-I did gymnastics for 12 years and won states 3 times.
-Played the violin for 6 years
-I'm a member of our schools Student Awareness Club
-I will be applying to FA

Realistically do I have a chance at getting into any of these schools? Please let me know, it would be a great help!

I think you’re a great candidate. Just… Do you have community service hours?

There are less spots for juniors in BS but you seem like a good candidate. Have you thought about repeat sophomore?

Well I don’t have a lot! I did some through my church but nothing recent. If I want to do some now(because I have a really good idea) would it be to late? like would they think I’m only doing it to look better?

And I don’t think i want to repeat a grade, doesn’t that look bad for colleges?

I think that if the community service is something your actually like to do, then it won’t look bad. It would look iffy if, let’s say, you hate yard work but just for community service you do yard work, that would look bad.

I don’t chance people, but I’m glad you are looking into Peddie because they have an amazing swim team! I would focus most on your application essay and interviews. I think they have the most impact on your application - in my opinion even more than extracurriculars/stats.

Thats exactly why I looked into Peddie! I wanted to go to a school where the swim team was up to par with my current team, and Peddie certainly is! Do you happen to know any other good swimming schools?
