Chances for applicant outside top 8% for liberal arts?

<p>Yup, outside top 8%, at a school that doesn't rank (by my counselor's estimates, I'm top 10% though) and would apply to college of liberal arts first (economics) and then minor/second major in geoscience.</p>

<p>White female,</p>

<p>ACT: 31</p>

<p>SAT: 2000/1380</p>

<p>Rigorous courseload, two years varsity swim team, leadership positions in Latin and History Clubs, Latin-related honors, honor roll every semester, and other EC's.</p>

<p>Wrote one heckuva ApplyTexas essay if that counts for anything.</p>
