<p>I have a 630 on my sat math, 600 on reading, and 500 on writing. My gpa is low - 2.8 however I am from another country ( I was born in Russia and lived there for 12 years before coming to the USA. In my essay I wrote about my struggles ( I knew 0 English when I came to USA) and I have 2 excellent recommendations, and 0 volunteer hours. Do I have no chance at all or can my essay explain my low gpa? By the way I am not a US citizen but I do have a green card! My toefull score was 80 out of 120! All the help will be greatly appreciated! </p>
