As you can tell, I like politics and history. I will major in either political science or history.

Give me your idea about my chances at some small LACs, major state universities, and Princeton and Brown. Throw in some others schools that you think might be a good fit for me and the likelihood of me getting in. Thanks in advance

How can u fit all that on the application?

U could get into some of the UC's. I don't think you have a chance at Princeton or Brown though.

i double posted by a mistake so. i attached my activity sheet on the common application's space for extra information.

any more suggestions

You have some really unique ECs, but your GPA and test scores are average, and when i mean average, that's comparing it to all the kids who apply to colleges, not the elite kids who post on CC. So you're really gonna have to emphasize all the nonacademic extracurricular stuff you've been doing...

u make a good point. it really was a lack of focus my sophomore and junior year that caused my average gpa. i addition i am taking the sat next weekend and i expect at least over a 1200. my recommendations will be excellent coming from some really important people, like a cabinet member and some high power executives from ETS where i worked at. reply and thanks in advance.

even so...a 1200 sat is still pretty low.

Reccomendations that matter will come from your teachers, not from outsiders. You know your math score is poor, so select the schools you apply to as ones that weight Verbal skills higher. I really glazed over reading your EC's. Instead of a mind-numbing list, why don't you consider grouping them?

Political

something

something

Hopefully, you are smart enough to know that no one on these boards knows chances. And you might look at schools who overlook weak scores in math.

Yeah, just send in those applications to any schools you want. If you get in, you get in, but if you lose, well, at least you tried. These so-called numbers aren't everything.
