You seem like you have a great shot at BC. I was just talking to this girl about what kind of people BC accepts and the BC admission people look for a type – lots of leadership and volunteering. It supposedly increases your chances if you’re Catholic.

hmm ok thanks, well I am Catholic  I volunteered at Vacation Bible School over the summer

I highly doubt Catholicism plays a role in admissions. BC wants the best kids, no matter their religion, if any religion.

Hi love purple-You have a great resume! It looks like it is right in line with what BC seems to be looking for. Good volunteer work and leadership. Your SAT’s look GREAT and your GPA is excellent! The fact that you have a definite passion and have a lot of experience shows commitment and all colleges like that!
My suggestion to you is when you are writing your essay make sure it is not status quo. Show your true self! If you mention your strong faith - that couldn’t hurt! Also, make sure you are active in the community! Rack up those hours in service!
Good luck, and keep up the good work!
