Are you a nice person? Do you share with and help your classmates? Are you interesting and engaging in the classroom?

If so, will those qualities come across in your teacher recommendations? In your essays?

Based on what you have posted, I think those will be the questions asked about you during the admissions process at highly selective schools like Brown…

To answer some of you questions, no I am not the stereotypical anti-social nerd. I don’t go to parties or dances but I can communicate ideas and discuss and share things just fine. Teacher Recs shouldn’t be a problem, nothing spectacular but probably still on the better side. As for the SATII tests I’m not to sure its more of I’ve learned it so lets prove I’ve learned it by taking an SAT.

torus, It looks to me like you’ve already demonstrated you’re more than academically qualified. You should spend your Saturdays on things you really enjoy instead of taking more standardized test, in my opinion.

Dartmouth admissions said : How much time are you spending studying for the SAT vs. engaging in academic or intellectual endeavors, or extracurriculars?

torus, were you able to watch the Stanford case study?
