Chances for Cal State Fullerton (CSUF)?

I am a junior in high school. My unweighted GPA is 2.88. I can get it up to a little over 3.0 by the end of this year. My weighted GPA is 3.2.

I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I've been getting around 1700-1800's on the practice SAT tests I've been taking. I'm taking the real SAT in a week.

I have taken Music Theory AP, English AP, Biology AP, and Calculus AB AP. Next year (senior year) I am taking Calculus BC AP or Statistics AP, Environmental Science AP, Literature AP, and Psychology AP.

Also, when people say the average GPA for Cal State Fullerton acceptances are around 3.0 (I'm not sure if that's the real number), is that weighted or unweighted?

Thanks for your time.

Fullerton’s avg freshman gpa is 3.37, SAT is 1020 (they don’t count the writing section)

Are you in their local service area? If not, the requirements are going to be higher that the averages, since they are impacted in all majors.

Here is a link to a service area map:

CSUF: Match

What is match? (Sorry I’m a bit new to these forums)

Match means that your stats are the equivalent to the average person who is admitted.

If you’re a Cali resident you have a shot. GL

Ohh. And yeah I live in California.

Thanks guys :)
