Good recs and good essays/supplements. My counselor says LSP might be more likely due to my GPA.

you have a good shot at CAS, it’s probably a high match while LSP would be a low match. Your SATs might be a bit low (1280/1600) but you have a strong class load and pretty good ECs.

Your EC’s are very strong. Your GPA is a bit low, as the average unweighted GPA is a 3.65 and your math SAT’s are a bit low as well. I had the same thing as well, but the opposite (580 reading, 800 math). I ended up sending the ACT because I heard they look at it in a more wholistic way. Anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into LSP, especially with your high reading/writing grades.

I got a 3.8 unweighted gpa for first semester this year (senior year) with a 4.2 weighted. It’s also the hardest course load I’ve ever had. I’m hoping that’ll make a huge difference.

I got into LSP with a 3.5 GPA and 1920 SAT. So I say, you have a good chance of being placed in LSP. Just make your essays really unique and you’ll have a good shot!

My personal statement was about me imagining myself at Woodstock and relating the late-60’s culture to the culture of my generation. One of my supplements was basically a description of the mental process of writing something creative, so I think I have the unique aspect down. I’m just freaking out a bit because my GPA has been so low until this year. I don’t know what to do anymore but wait :(
