I should have about a 3.5 gpa when applying. But I have an F in computer science which is dragging down my gpa. But my current school gpa is a 4.0 (might drop a little after this semester)
I’ve attended 3 colleges full time (long story)…but I’d be applying for a second bachelors
SAT: 2080 (idk how much they look at this)
I’m URM (idk if that helps)
I’ll be able to write a convincing essay.
If you have actual knowledge on GS, please respond. Looking for informative posts from people close to the school or those that have done research on the school.
Hi @ShotsFired,
Given what you’ve shared here, you should definitely consider applying to GS! The application essay will give you a chance to elaborate on your educational history, and explain why you believe you’d be a good fit for Columbia. I encourage you to schedule an appointment with an admissions manager at GS, who will be able to discuss your particular circumstances in greater depth. These may be conducted in person or over the phone, and you can make an appointment by calling 212-854-2772 or visiting gs.columbia.edu/admissions-advisement. Best of luck in your application!
