<p>First, i want to thank you for taking the time to read my post and help me out on this </p>
<p>I am a french student, currently on exchange overseas, I have to go back to France for one year to graduate first and then i intend to apply for an american college.</p>
<p>I was thinking of Columbia, Duke, Georgetown, Princeton, Amherst, Upenn!</p>
<p>Here are my scores at the tests : TOEFL 118/120. SAT 1 : 730 reading, 780 Math, 720 writing, SAT 2 US history : 750/800, World History 740/800</p>
<p>I have an overall average of 15/20, and will probably get my french baccalaureate scientific section with the english european option with an overall of 16/20.
Top 5% of my class. Top 10% of the school</p>
<p>Extracurriculum :</p>
<p>One year of exchange in a canadian high school through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program
Volunteer hours in some Rotary events
Two leadership camps in North America
Two summer job : one in a farm and one in a bank for a month.
Two internship in journalism, one in a big online based newspaper in Algeria, and a medium online based newspaper in Paris.
I've wrote articles for a year in a online based music/lifestyle magazine too. (lots of online stuff huh..)
I have been the president of my class as well as the representative of the students in my high school's board of committee during a year.

I have participated in a few Model United Nations Conference.
I don't know the english word for it but i've been a member of the student section of a national political party and through this experience i've been helping during campaign with posters and this kind of stuff.
I've been traveling through Europe and Asia with a friend by our own using savings money but i'm sure it's not relevant.</p>
