Great ECs! What’s your intended major, if I might ask, as I believe that can affect admission? Your stats are competitive, but there isn’t much to distinguish you from the mix with what you’ve presented here - I’m sure you’ll shine through in your essays, however. Best of luck
@FinelyAgedPruno 4 of them are health related which is the field I want to go into also the summer courses I took have to do with science too (biotech and ap bio)
@penny47 I was taking you seriously until I read your second sentence!
(Though you, unknowingly, may be right as the number of applicants with 34+ are much less than those in 32 score category. What counts is the percentage of admitted kids in each category not the actual numbers.)
Stats wise you are very solid, although your ACT COULD use a boost, it’s not 110% necessary to get accepted. Your EC’s, while very good, are kinda stereotypical “asian” (pre-health stuff), although I think your involvement in sports should help to counter that. Your Rubik’s cube EC is actually DAMN cool.
I would say you’re still a low reach for Cornell ED. I think you got a solid shot. But Cornell will be Cornell and you can never know for sure.
Your ECs are very strong. The fact that you come from Cali is a plus:) congrats on your grades and achievements so far! The cubing thing makes you stand out a lot:) Good luck!
