<p>Your volunteer and work experience look good - what are your AP scores? As I am sure you know a 4.0 is terrific. Strong AP scores would substantiate the GPA. Your other scores could be OK - I am not sure for some of your schools though - competition is tough these days. Good luck</p>

<p>Holy Cross has a great pre-med program with very high med school acceptance rate. The Holy Cross website details the new science building and science internships. HC offers good financial aid and has January 15th application due date. HC has better alumni network than most schools.</p>

<p>You have a good GPA & ECs. However, ACT of 31 will hurt your chance, if applying NW, WUSL,Emory. Can you take another one in January to bring it up to 33-34?
I just got acceptd by Duke’s ED. My ACT are 35, 35 (subscore 36).
SAt is 2240. I am not bragging but just trying to give you a feel of the stats of accepted PPL.</p>

<p>I think that you have a good shot at Northwestern. The difficulty of getting into NW is really overrated. Is Pacific Islander considered an URM? If so, I think it’d be really good for you. I have a friend who got in ED but he had a course load of all APs (with As) in everything senior year. I think that’s why he got in, his scores weren’t as good as yours. He also had no ECs, and yours are good in my opinion. Good luck!!
