I’m worried putting pre-law on my app hurt me since some schools will scrutinize pre-law/pre-med applicants harder, thoughts on my chances?
I read back over last years and saw great stats get waitlisted or rejected and some with lower stats (but still solid) admitted. It likely comes down to your EC’s, recommendations as they too pull a lot of weight at Emory per their Common Data Set and what you will contribute to the Emory community, Emory is very diverse in all aspects. Good luck!
I feel like you have a good chance, you have an obvious spike in your interest in political science. As long as you fully developed your interest in your essays and have a recommendation letter backing your passion up, you should be set. In terms of Pre-Law, it might slightly hurt your chances; at the same time, I got in Bio Pre-Med.
