Chances for "Final" College List

hi, everyone. i’m bumping this because i would like to have a few more opinions. this is what i feel like my list profiles as:

reach schools: bowdoin (applying test optional), carleton, hamilton, middlebury, vassar, wesleyan (applying test optional)

unsure of target/reach status: bates, colby, macalester, university of miami, rochester, case western

target schools: connecticut college, grinnell (i’ve shown so much interest, lol. i’m sending in a “why grinnell?” essay even though i’m applying ed2.), kenyon, oberlin, occidental, rhodes, union

safeties: indiana university, university of tennessee

i’ve shown lots of interest in all the schools except miami. i emailed my admission officers at middlebury and macalester, but they never emailed me back, lol. i took no offense though. my email more than likely mistakenly ended up in the spam folder. i also couldn’t find to whom i should speak about my rochester application, so i didn’t even try to email them. so… does it seem like i have my list correctly sorted (besides the ones i obviously don’t know are targets/reaches)?

*** update:

applied: bates, bowdoin (test-optional), case western reserve, colby, connecticut college, grinnell (ED2), middlebury, rhodes, uofmiami, and wesleyan (test-optional)

did not apply: vassar and hamilton

have yet to apply: carleton, kenyon, macalester, oberlin, occidental, union, rochester

i’ll be sending in my own supplemental “Why X?” essay to case western, connecticut college, grinnell, and kenyon

i can now take a bit of a break! lol
