Chances for financial aid?

For an international student from a poor country, with 2280 SAT and 4.00 unweighed GPA, is there any colleges/universities which will give financial aid (80% of the tuition fee)? Any schools which you think might be reach?

U wd have qualified for an AUTOMATIC full tuition Presidential Scholarship at Univ of Alabama w your stats. But the application deadline was yesterday.

hmm. I should’ve found it out earlier. But I hope there will be other schools.

Howard University has full ride scholarship but it’s not guaranteed because it’s first served.

It also requires your transcript to be translated by NACES, which is about 400 $. Do it as soon as possible.

What’s your weighted GPA? Any extracurricular activities and awards? Did you apply anywhere yet?

@GMTplus7‌ it’s not automatic anymore. You need to apply for it, which is VERY VERY easy.

In Mongolia, weighed GPA is not calculated. Extracurriculars and awards are above average (I guess). I have applied to an Ivy EA but got deferred. Thaank you @paul2752

You can apply for Berea. It only take 5-10% international but if you are admitted the cost is Free.

Also look into those automatic scholarship schools starting with Alabama. However, deadline for applying has been passed for this year.
