I am going to be a senior this year and its my dream to go to Georgetown and major in international relations. My transcript is probably the strongest part of my application as I would say I have a 4.0 GPA unweighted.

I am hoping to bring up my Math score...

I go to a small, all girl catholic school and only 5 APs are offered
I took APUSH this year and recieved a 5 and am planning on taking the remaining 4 my senior year

ECs:
Hospital volunteer
Weeklong trip to soup kitchen

President of Free the Children
NHS member
Math club - 4 years
Newspaper editor

I received the Holy Cross Book Award for grades and community service and the RPI Award for math and science

Any ideas on what I should do to add to my transcript? I have also looked at Tufts, GW...Princeton (reach school) and am open to other school ideas with undergraduate programs in IR

ECs are a little bit weak for Gtown. As for the 4.0, if your school is ranked and viewed as one with a challenging curriculum, then it might mean something. But otherwise, it shows inflation. I’d say you have a 50/50 shot at Gtown, GW is a possiblity (more so than Gtown), but Princeton is not going to happen. Good luck.

I second davidoga for his chances analysis. All-girls school are known for having extreme grade inflation so without a class rank its hard to say.

Thanks for the comments. I’m not too sure about inflation, how do you know if your grades are inflated or not? I’m also not 100% positive what my GPA is because my school gives out letter grades.
