chances for getting into BU?

My grades freshman and first semester of sophomore year weren't the best.. but i managed to get my gpa up to a 3.6/3.7 second semester.
My school's gpa system is known to be one of the weirdest in LA; where the gpa difference of an A and A- is nearly 0.4.

freshman year I took biology, geometry, honors world history and spanish two along with the other required classes. (most incoming freshman don't take biology, geometry or language two till their sophomore year)

sophomore year, I took chemistry, Algebra II, regular World Civ Two and Spanish three(again the more advanced classes for sophomores). Our school only offers AP Euro for the sophomore year and I was originally enrolled for it but I took regular World Civ instead.

The only APs available for junior year are AP bio or chem (seniors get priority), APUSH(Ap Euro kids get priority and they need a C or higher in the class), and Ap Lang.

If i take APUSH junior year and take possibly 3 APs senior year will I have a good chance of getting into BU (saying my GPA for junior year is a 4.0)

I heard colleges look at improvement and Ive been improving drastically.

When i took the SAT practice test freshman year, I got a 1900
I got a 790 on the one SAT II that I took
and I volunteer by tutoring kids every week, volunteering at the school wide events, I was in a choir for six years (world vision), and Im volunteering at a museum every week in a foreign country.

Saying that I improve A LOT junior year, do I have a slight chance of getting into BU?

What is your overall HS gpa? (unweighted)

I believe you are more than qualified to get in. I know people who have gotten under 3.5 UW and have gotten into BU without any worries. If your SATs are above 2200+, then you would be good to go even if you didn’t improve your GPA.

I’d call it a decent match
