Chances for GTown

This is very premature as I have not even taken the SAT's but just out of curiousity it would be nice to get some feedback to what I have. I'm aware this isn't much to go on.

GPA: I generally keep a 3.7 on a 4.3 scale, every couple of semesters it floats to a 3.8 and its been 4.0 once or twice.

Courseload: All AP/IB classes, I don't think I'm going to take any IB tests but I'll take 6-8 AP tests.

Extracurriculars:
-3 years of newspaper, editor-in-chief
-3 years of mock trial, county champions
-2 years of forensics
-4 years of ice hockey

Other:
-Attended a symposium on politics at Princeton last summer
-I'm going to be doing some campaign work in '07 for the NJ Assembly elections

I know there's not much to go on, and I may be forgetting some stuff, but feedback would be greatly appreciated.

So are you just taking IB classes, but are not in the IB Diploma program?
Your other stats look very good though, but IB classes aren't as impressive without the tests to back them up.

I'm thinkin you're a junior if you haven't taken the SATs yet. Wait a year. Leave this board and come back next summer. Lol, seriously tho just focus on your grades and SAT and you'll be fine.

Also it helps to know what your rank or percentile you are in, that way we know how difficultly your schools grades. For example, a 3.7 at my school would put somebody, if not in the top 10%, then very, very close to it.
