Your stats are average for an ivy league applicant but your ECs are phenomenal. If your SAT goes up, I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. Good luck!! Congrats on the achievements!

Thanks a lot. I’ll work hard on my SAT this month!

Uh, definitely reject. No hook + not an academic superstar + international. Harvard doesn’t need EC overloaders as part of their international acceptances. Forget it.

Is there any other advise? What are the chances for me to be accepted by any other top Us. I’ve applied to mostly every school within the top30.

Harvard: All you can do is wait and see. Nobody can chance some colleges.

Good luck to you!

Your EC is very strong but I dont see any official award you win based on your research/report/activity. Because your interactions are basically with the government and considering the position of your father, I guess the connection, or Guanxi in Chinese, helps a lot here, right? Unfortunately, due to the fact that you are a student from China, I think it is reasonable to expect that the AO will have the same thinking and doubt as mine. Also, I have the same feeling with mathnerd1 that your academic is weak, in the case that you are from China and still cannot get full marks in SAT subjects and APs.

Anyway, Good luck.
