<p>From what I see you look pretty good but its hard to tell since you don't have SAT scores or a proposed major. You need to list a strong interest on your app and show your previous experience relates to that interest. Depending on what you want to study and how up in the air you are, I would probably advise you to apply to HE. They have many pre-med people and not many black males apply. But if a major in CALS is a better fit for you then definitely apply there. Your passion (or lack there of) will shine brighter then anything on your app.</p>

<p>i was thinking of majoring in biology..i did the NYLF on medicine and thats what got wanting to do medicine/biology....so i was thinking of applying to CALS because I didnt really see a biology major for HE but is there?</p>

<p>HE does have a bio major, but it deals with more social aspect of bio, hence why they are called "biology and society", and "human biology, health and society." Also note, a pure biology major is not your only way to medicine.</p>
