Chances for Holy Cross, BU, UNH, St. A's, Northeastern

I will be applying to several colleges, most likely for early application, this fall and was wondering if anyone could chance me :)

I have been homeschooled since kindergarten (and loved it!) and am definitely looking forward to the college experience. Since I am homeschooled, I'm not totally sure what my gpa is and I obviously don't know what my class rank is. I'm hoping that this won't be a negative in the application process...

Anyways, these are my stats:

Caucasian Female
Catholic
Graduated from highschool as a 16 year old this year (won't be turning 17 till august so I'm taking this year off in between college)
Family Income - $200,000 but will need financial aid. (hopefully we'll get some aid, unfortunately it looks like my dad makes alot on paper, but as he owns his own business, he really doesn't make that amount.)

Highschool stats:
English/Lit/Composition, all four years. 95%
Physical science freshman year. - 95%
AP bio w/ lab sophomore year - 85%
AP chem w/ lab junior year - 95%
AP physics w/ lab senior year - 98%
World History - 93%
American History - 95%
AP Civics and Government - 93%
German I & II - 90%
Economics - 93%

I have taken the CAT (California Achievment Tests) test every year since like 3rd grade. I have Always been in the 90-99 percentiles.
SATs - 1880 - CR 690, WR 620 (8 essay), M 570
Haven't taken the ACTs yet, but I imagine I will be in the low 30s. I've been taking practice test and have been doing really well; I like it soo much better than the sats.

Violin lessons fr/soph/jr year
Part of string trio sophomore year
Part of my church choir for the past 6 years
Volunteering help to our church
Training/competing/caring for horses since I was 5 years old.
Organizing/Running our own horse camps at our house. My sister and I started doing horse camps at our house in '07. Since then we've held three camps every summer with 8-16 participants (from ages 6-16) in each camp. Our camp 'tuition' is at an extremely discounted rate, so even large families can have their children attend.
Interned at a well known dressage equestrian farm, working one to three times a week. Helping with stable management, exercising horses, preparing for shows and clinics on property.
Working at my dad's office. Basically doing what an assistant manager would do. Answering calls, scheduling shipments, excel spread sheets, proposals, contracts, invoices, billing, filing.
Volunteering at a senior housing complex. Making, serving and cleaning up dinner for 15-20 senior citizens once a month.
Rec Softball freshman and sophomore years, but did it for several years in middle school too.
Rec Basketball freshman year, but once again, did it for several years in middle school.
Assistant Coaching of the 6-8 year old basketball league freshman year.

I will be applying to
Holy Cross (top pick, but it is super expensive, don't know if it will be worth the insane tuition)
UNH (I've liked it so far, I'm afraid it will be too much a party school and not great academically...)
St. Anselms (not sure about this one, it might be a little too small for me)
Northeastern (don't know too much about this one, although I've heard good things)
Boston University (same as northeastern)

Soooo, what are my chances? thanks in advance :)

Also, wanted to add that I will be going as pre-dental (biochemistry major, minoring in business? not quite sure yet) and then eventually go to dental school. I will also probably be shadowing/interning sometime this year at my local dentist’s office.

whoops, I completely forgot to put in my math courses, haha.
The curriculum that I used is sort of unusual as it is comprised of three books that equate to 4.5 credits. Basically Alg. I and II are three credits as geometry is in there, and Adv. Math is adv.trig and plane geometry and that one book equaled 1.5 credits, although I only did 3/4 of it so I ended up with 1 credit, and an even 4 credits in math over all

Algebra I sophomore year - 88%
Algebra II junior year - 93%
Adv. Math (adv. trig/plane geometry) senior year - 94%

You have a good chance for all of those schools, i dont know much about homeschooled admissions though.

thanks, wondering if anyone else has advice? would really appreciate it :)

how did you do on all of your ap tests? it’s hard to judge because you are homeschooled (not that it’s a bad thing) but it will give me a better idea of our chances

Providing your AP scores would be helpful, but seems that you’d have a good chance at all the schools. I don’t think your chances for FA are good at any of the schools. Holy Cross is needs based only, so if u don’t qualify for FA – you’re full pay. BU and St. A’s do have merit scholarships, not sure about the other schools on your list but definitely something u should look into. Many schools these days have something in the admission section of their web pages about homeschooled applicants. Good Luck to you!!

Holy Cross (my father is a graduate of that school) may wonder why you chose home schooling over a Catholic parochial school for your education. Home schooling is usually associated with fundamentalist Protestants who do not want their children exposed to things like the Theory of Evolution in the public schools.
