Rank: Top 5%; Valedictorian so far as long as I can keep my GPA at 4.5</p>

<p>GPA unweighted: 3.89 (out of 4.0)
GPA weighted: 4.5 (out of 4.0)</p>

<p>APs: Euro Hist 5; US Hist 5, Chem 4;
APs to be taken: Calculus BC, US Govt, Env Sci, Spanish Lit, English Lit; probably 5s on all based on my current grades in those classes.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-Model United Nations: Senior Committee Chair, Best Delegate x2, Honorable Mention. Went to THIMUN (the biggest MUN in the world in Holland).
-Cayuco Race (a Panamanian rowing sport of sorts involving 4 man crews. it's 3 days long and you go through the Panama Canal): 3rd Place, 4th Place trophies. Team captain for 2 years.
-NHS Vice-president, treasurer.
-Student Leader at youth group of 350 members; helped organize and lead it
-Guitar student at Panama's top music school, play the piano as well. Perform weekly in my youth group's band.</p>

<p>I have around 200+ community service hours so far</p>

<p>I'm from Panama, so that's a small hook for my application I'm guessing.</p>

<p>i must be going blind or i can’t add…but no matter how i look at it, your score is a 2200, not a 2160. So what’d you type wrong?</p>

<p>Haha you’re right, i typed my first SAT scores total, not the 2nd. First time i got a 660 on math</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot. Your SAT isn’t as high as many applicants, but your class standing is great. It may also help that you’re Latino. So, it’s not a sure thing but I think you’re in the running – welcome to the crowd. Good luck!!</p>
