Not one safety?

I imagine your chances are pretty good (in my imaginings, not based on anything scientific), especially if you demonstrate what you're passionate about in your essays.

Since on one level you're "typical" of the applicant pool (high-achieving, driven), any demonstration that you could give any of the schools that that's where you really want to go would help.

this applicant is hardly "typical", havya. High achieving is called high achieved specifically because a level has been achieved that is not typical.
Great chances anywhere... seriously

don't retake the SATs that should be your only time taking them. You have good courses, but they could be MUCH better. Your rank will hurt you. But you have great ECs and Intel Semifinalist is EXTREMELY good. What was your research on for the Intel competition?

Harvard: High Reach (it is for everyone)
Princeton: High Reach (again, it is for everyone)
Yale: High Reach (Again it is for everyone)
Stanford: High Reach (AGAIN it is for everyone)
Dartmouth: Low Reach
JHU: Match/Low Reach
Cornell: Low Reach/High Match
Georgetown: High Match
Duke: High Match
UPENN: Reach

wowza, great chances! but not one safety? I am sure you'll get into at least one of those schools but it is still a little risky. why didn't you apply SCEA to yale or stanford or EA to g-town?

Ugh. Why on Earth would he not retake the SATs, and why would his rank "hurt him"? They're all above average.

sigh no. His SATs and stats in general are well above average for all of these schools. There's no intelligent reason to describe them as "High Reaches", and it doesn't make sense to say that they're reaches for "everyone".

Clearly, there are a lot of qualified applicants so the results are unpredictable, but that hardly means that the schools should be considered reaches.

Seems reasonable, although you're still exaggerating a lot. His chances are pretty good for all of them.

I'm a female =)
I didn't apply for SCEA because of problems with getting my application together.
My safety is Boston University/ Binghamton.

and thank you.
I do feel though as if even though my grades are above average a lot of people have my score and most of all i fear for my freshman year grades, i have many 70s ..but my essay will be about how playing the guitar has made me a better student and achiever.
and thank you again =)
