Chances for HYPS, etc. *Will Chance Back*

Hope so… I just regret those 2 B’s I got freshman year. :P

Ohhh ohh ohh psssssssh, one of those girls got a C in an AP class, I forgot which though…

I had C’s in freshman year, how do you think I feel :P

:D

Heh, I worry too much.

I think you have great chances at all these places. I think most of the schools you have on your list are matches except for a couple which are safeties (Colgate, Washington & Lee). And there are a few that are reaches (Harvard, MIT, Stanford). But your SAT scores are great and your ECs are some of the best I’ve seen. The only thing is, have you taken any SAT IIs?

1) Harvard - Depends on essays and luck (you have as good as a chance as anyone)
2) Stanford - "
3) Princeton - "
4) MIT - "
5) Dartmouth - Low-Reach
6) Amherst - "
7) University of Chicago - "
8) Georgetown - "
9) Carnegie Mellon - Upper-Match
10) Cornell - Low-Reach
11) McGill - Upper-Match
12) Colgate - "
13) Middlebury - "
14) Washington University in St. Louis - See first 4
15) Washington & Lee University - Low Reach
16) London School of Economics - No idea, sorry

Please chance your inferior:

I think:
Colleges

 1. Harvard - You will get into 1 of these first four. Or if you apply early to one, you will probably get in.
 2. Stanford
 3. Princeton
 4. MIT
 5. Dartmouth - high match
 6. Amherst - match/high match
 7. University of Chicago - depends on essays but match
 8. Georgetown - match
 9. Carnegie Mellon - easy match
 10. Cornell - match
 11. McGill - in
 12. Colgate - in
 13. Middlebury - I dont think a safety, but low match.
 14. Washington University in St. Louis - Match/low match
 15. Washington & Lee University - in
 16. London School of Economics - haha like everybody else, no idea at all.

So yeah. Really good with everything.

Seems like nobody knows about the London School of Economics… it’s supposedly harder to get into than Harvard. (Top-rate economics and political science program!)

Not yet, but hoping for 800s (Math II, US History, Physics)

Part of determining factor is your fit for each school. College don’t always accept ppl who are super smart but cannot contribute anything to the campus’ diversity, ideas, and reputation.
