I believe that is all... I don't know why I'm doing this. I think I just really can't think about anything else right now.

Thankee.

Bumpage...

you have a really good chance

JHU has a relatively high acceptance rate, about 20-30 percentish.

I actually applied Early Decision, so I think the acceptance rate is higher.. But still, nearly everyone who applies to JHU is amazing. Even if there is a 50% acceptance rate for ED at JHU, they have to choose pretty much only from the best of the best.. The only people who really apply there are top of their class..this is what scares me.. I feel like compared to other applicants, I may not seem as qualified. >.<

Okay, I feel like a loser doing this but...bump.

you have a good chance at jhu ed.

::bounces:: ....bump.. Anyone care to give their opinion on what part of my application is the weakest..? What might keep me from being accepted?

The fact that you want to do BME

La la la la la la la bump. :)

nnilsen-- u got just as much a shot as the rest of us jhu ed's applicants. best of luck to u!!
and also, their ed acc rate is like 55% or something, which is great for us :)

ho hum, bump

Not anymore.... with over 1000 ED apps this year.... we are likely to see the acceptance rate go down to 35-45%

yep... or even lower, which will be really sad for me

How'd you hear about that? If it's true, that's scary. Anyway..anyone else, chances?

U averaged a 98 percent in all ur classes? Even a professor retaking some math tests would have brain farts that would not give him a 98 on the course. Ur school must have wild inflation.

goBears, the GPA is weighted

"Okay, I feel like a loser doing this but...bump." times infinity lol! ive never seen so many bumps in one place before. no offense or anything, its just kinda funny.

Ya, that's the weighted GPA. We get +5 for advanced (honors) classes and +10 for AP classes, which is major inflation but still less than what I've seen for some other schools (but probably because my school does not go on a 4.0 scale..).. I don't know. Anyway..ya.. when GPA is calculated it's weighted, class grades are not.. And cumulative GPAs make me angry...I had a lot of stuff going on and almost crumbled at one point last year and it really made my GPA go down.. but somehow my class rank got better...which I find funny.. :P

your SAT1's could be a slight disadvantage, but i don't think JHU's is that much of a number-based school
