Chances for Middlebury, Bates, and Oberlin

Those are my top choices... If I got into any one of them I would be so happy!
I am applying RD to all of them... I couldn't choose one that I like the most plus I have to be able to compare fin aid packages but I know ED would probably improve my chances... Oh well

SAT: 1990- math: 630 reading: 680 writing: 680
but will be taking it again next weekend... hopefully will do better on reading and writing there is no hope for me to improve on math so I think my final score will prob be around 2050 after the retake maybe higher I'm not really sure or maybe won't improve at all you never know

GPA:
3.8 unweighted
4.4 weighted

extracurriculars:
Girl Scouts(all four years): Silver Award, Gold Award(project benefitted a farm animal sanctuary)
NHS(junior, senior): VP of service
Internship at a Renewable Energy nonprofit in DC over the summer
Playing drums for 2 years and taking lessons(junior, senior)
Practiced Gymnastics for 2 years(freshman, sophomore)(not school-related, there was no team at my school)
Spanish Honor Society(more of an award, we don't really do anything for it)

AP world: 5
AP psych: 5
AP lang: 4
AP govt: 3

I am taking ap stat, ap lit, ap econ, and ap env sci this year

My intended major is environmental studies and I think my passion for the environment and animal welfare/rights will come through in my essays/teacher recs.

I'm really confused about my chances at these schools because I think my SATs are low compared to others and my extracurrics aren't the best especially since I never played a varsity sport(or even a jv sport, everyone I know is on a varsity sports team at my school)

Chances?
Thanks so much!

Middlebury is a reach for anyone…when I went there, they made it very clear that their admissions process is harsh. Oberlin and Bates seem more like target/matches. Your SAT scores are good, but if you want to take it again to set yourself over the top, then go for it! Also, our extracurriculars don’t have to be varsity sports to be stellar. Just make sure you let the schools know that you’re busy and not spending all of your time watching TV. Girl Scouts is awesome.
All three are great schools! Best of luck! :)
