<p>Im currently going to be a Junior this fall and Im going to be doing the IB program this school year too. Notre Dame and NYU have been one of my top schools for a while now but im afraid that i wont get in due to my grades, class rank and gpa. But im not going to give up because anything is possible. What can i do? My rank was 369 out of 741 and my gpa was solid 3.3. I had alot of things going on my freshman year (family/personal issues) which led into my sophomore year. I need help to get back on track...please

<p>Well, if you want a shot at either of them, you better work HARD to get those grades up! It doesn’t matter if you have the best EC’s known to man neither one of those schools will accept you with that GPA. With that being said, you still have the SAT’s (1900-2100) to take, make sure you do well on that and bring your grade up to at LEAST 3.5. Then you will have a good chance at admission at NYU and ND. Of course if this is all supplemented by stellar EC’s, your chances will be even greater! Good luck this year! Junior year is notoriously known as the hardest!</p>
