Chances for nursing at Penn State, UDel, NYU and others

I'm a current High School junior who has been to most of these colleges for visits already. If I get the GPA I expect this year.. my GPA for all three years will be a 3.8 weighted and a 3.6 unweighted. I took the SAT's once and got an 1850, or 1210.. I plan on taking them at least twice more so it mostly likely will go up.

I'm going into nursing which is know is VERY competitive.

here's the list i'm applying to.. the first few i know are reach schools but they of course are my first choices:
University of Delaware, PennState, NYU, GWU(if they get a 4 year nursing program), York College of PA, Bloomsburg University, West Chester University.

what are my chances for those school or any other suggestions you have. I live in the philadelphia area.

also, I did a discovery healthcare program at a hospital in philadelphia for 5 days a week, 5 hours, for three weeks shadowing doctors (75 hrs total). And I'm going back this summer. I'm in a few clubs and french honor society.

Thanks !

I think you should be able to get into some of those schools, no problem with your stats. My daugher applied to some of the schools you did and her her scores are very similar to yours and she got into several direct entry nursing programs. She has decided to go to Bloomsburg. Good Luck.
