Chances for NYU/Georgia Tech/UT Austin/Emory/Northwestern ED? Will chance back!

I will chance back!
I go to a top 15 High School in the nation. Will the rigor of my high school greatly help me?
Rank is 28/183 (top 15%)
My unweighted GPA is a 3.4(I know...it's low)
My weighted GPA is a 4.15.
I've taken as many APs as I can. I've gotten all 4s or 5s (took 6 between my soph and junior year).
680 CR
760 Math
800 Writing
(2240 total)

770 Math 2
760 Chem

I've got good enough Extracurrs.
Thank you
Concerning Northwestern ED: I visited the campus and I know they like demonstrated interest.

Do you live in Texas? If so, you’d have a higher chance of getting in.
I’d say your more likely to get into NYU and UT
Your more “reaches”, although not by much, is GT, Emory, and Northwestern.

If they said demonstrating interest for Northwestern is good and you’ve been doing that, then that can only help you

Thank you Inmiller, sure!

Stop creating multiple threads…

That GPA might really hurt you…also, you might want to get the CR score up
Match: UT Austin
High Match: Georgia Tech
Low reach: NYU
Reach: Emory/Northwestern

Thanks xxclouds!

I think you’re in NYU and UT Austin!
Georgia Tech and Emory might be a little tougher to get in, but I bet you’ll get into at least one.
I think that Northwestern may be a reach, but I hope you get in! that is my fave one from your list.

ps great job on your standardized tests!

Emory and Northwestern may be reaches considering your GPA and lack of hook. However I still think you have pretty good chances.

Chance me?
