Hey yana22
I’m a rising senior as well and beginning applying, so I’m as much a novice as you are. :stuck_out_tongue:

But from just looking over your stuff you have a solid shot at making any one of these ED. I think that Northwestern and Johns Hopkins are good choices for early decision, but I think you might make it into Emory even rd. Your scores are definitely really competitive and your courseload seems good. The GPA is admittedly a bit low, especially when considering the colleges you’re looking into.

I also think that your rank might be a bit of a problem, since you’re not top 10%. But this might not matter since you do go to such a high-ranking high school.

As long as you have really solid EC’s, dynamite essays, and good teacher recs, I think that you have a very good shot at making it into any one of these colleges, especially if you apply early.

Best of luck!

The only thing that worries me is your GPA. I wouldn’t advise applying anywhere ED, as you can bump up your GPA next semester.

Good luck!

Chance back?
